I wish we were going to be in London for this, because each one of the illustrators participating in the upcoming Go Figure: New Fashion Illustration exhibition are the ones to watch. The exhibition will show from 11 May – 14 July 2012 at Fashion Space Gallery, London College of Fashion, 20 John Princes Street, London W1.
The exhibition showcases, “the brightest young talent across the field of fashion. The series will showcase makers who, though not yet widely known, are some of the most outstanding of their generation – whose work takes its place among the best of contemporary practice, while also defining future directions, agendas and tastes around fashion creation.” (fashionspacegallery.com)
Bringing together more than 60 works by thirteen international fashion illustrators, each with their own unique yet highly detailed style, the exhibition will provide insight the the truly multi-faceted field of fashion illustration.

Go Figure has been curated by Ligaya Salazar, Curator of Contemporary Programmes at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Polona Dolžan, independent curator.
