Fashion and portrait illustrator, Berto Martinez, relates each aspect of his drawing with common interests and corresponding colors. Berto not only does fashion illustrations for his own pleasure, but he has recently worked with Chidy Wayne and Nike on their latest line of Barca clothing based on the current players and Azulgrana colors from the past.

Berto has a very contrasting style in his artwork, working with very delicate lines and adding bold colors to what was originally done in black and white. Some of the works on his website, such as the opening of the Aurora court with the Euroleague stars banner, show the process Berto goes through in creating his pieces. In a lot of his fashion works, he leaves the faces and hair without any color and only shading in order to give a better definition of the clothing or accessories being displayed. Berto does not use the standard artistic formula for depth, and he is still able to illustrate a distinct difference in each element of every piece. It is characteristics like this that give Berto the title of a bona fide fashion illustrator.
