Hows does one go about illustrating their thoughts about the universe while creating chaotic beauty?  Amanda Mocci, Montreal based illustrator uses her love for black and white as a means to communicate her thoughts on the universe, using color as an enhancement.

It has been 3 years since Amanda decided to turn her passion for illustrating into a full time career and she has since been commissioned by  Society6, won many awards from Applied Arts Magazine and currently sells her art on etsy.

Inspired also by music, people,  Mocci has said that she starts her drawings by filling in the eyes in order to make her illustrations look alive from the very beginning.  As much as I love a colorful illustration, I really adore what Mocci does using black and white.
