Painter and Illustrator Sarah Larnach’s work, done in mostly ink and watercolor, mixes vibrant hues with bright white negative spaces. Sarah brings real life situations and people into her art with a dramatic and sometimes erotic twist. Her work is influenced mainly by music and because of that she has combined the two and worked with people such as Ladyhawke, doing artwork for album covers. The exclusivity of art galleries and exhibitions is not for Sarah, she loves that thousands of people are looking at her artwork on an album cover, whether or not they even realize that the illustrations are hers.

Sarah went to an art school, but majored in printmaking, but kept doing her own art on the side. She learned most about painting and illustrating through her mother who is also an artist and from time to time would bring her along to watercolor lessons. Usually painting people or portraits, Sarah also has a tendency to paint cats and with that her work is able to bring out her lighthearted sense of humor. Although Sarah is not a fashion illustrator, she has a expertise for drawing clothing with the correct textures and movement like a pro.
