I came across the illustrations of South Korean based illustrator, Minjae Lee the other day and while impressive I was convinced adobe or some other computer aided design tool was used in mixing the variety of patterns, colors, and shapes that create such imaginative illustrations. I was wrong.
On his personal website, Minjae does a great job of featuring her works chronologically, adding links to his shop and most impressive a “new” video section where Minjae showcases his entire illustration process. From initial sketch to final composition, Minjae showcases the wonders he does with markers and acrylic. Talk about precision in detail!
