Laura Laine Illustration for Muse Magazine

Laura Laine is an incredibly talented illustrator whose work has been featured in prominent magazines such as The New Yorker, Rad Hourani, Muse Magazine, and Iben Hoeuj.

Although she has received publicity through the custom artwork she has created for these well-known publications her most celebrated works are the ones that fit snuggly into the fashion world.

Laine’s illustrations utilize an array of delicate line work, a popular fad in contemporary illustration.  Laura Laine’s line work has gained much apparaisal based on her ability to create realistic textures.  Whether Laine is drawing leather, wool, fur, or hair it is clear to the viewers what she is illustrating.

Featured predominately in black and white, Laines works not only draw inspiration from the fashion world but have become a staple within many advertising campaigns for apparel companies.  Illustrating women clad in trendy apparel selections, in poses that rival those featured in the latest edition of Vogue, I can only count the days until we begin seeing Laines illustrations on screen printed apparel.  More of her works below:
