Biker Chic, graceful, iconic, feminine.  Combine them and you’ve got the Chanel F/W 2011/12 Prestige Eyewear Collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld.  Complete with interwoven chain and leather temples, the collection draws inspiration from the iconic Chanel handbag chain handle, we have all come to love and admire throughout the years.  The collection draws from current frame designs including: cat-eyes, oversized film star, butterflies and aviator.  Check out the “Creation” video below and briefly explore the development of the collection from concept to manufacturing:
